well stuff has happened. it's been a long week. too lazy to blog about everything leh. napfa, syf, jazz concert, not to mention all the TESTS.

suffice to say there have been ups and downs.

SYF was...good and bad. on one hand, yeah gold is nice. on the other hand, this is like deja vu. and i honestly believe we played well, no, we PERFORMED well, and had a good time doing it.

was walking around downstairs earlier this morning. suddenly realised that if you ignore the 10-story-high blocks, this place is really quite like some nature reserve. there're plants pretty much everywhere, you can hear all those random insects making a lot of noise, and u have stuff running all over the place like squirrels, dragonflies, this lizard. Even saw this little bird which had a really nice yellow mid with a blue neck.

one day, when I'm really too free, shall go downstairs with a camera and take some pics.

feeling kinda depressed. whatever happened to the times when I could still appreciate the simple things in life? like just staying back late and hanging out with friends and playing dumb games and laughing at ourselves after that? or the times I could just take my guitar, play some ridiculously simple tune and still get a huge kick out of it? or even just watching the rain and enjoying the sheer tranquility of things?

when did I become this burned out, cynical and tired zombie?

didn't really do much on good friday though.
but on sat. hehe.
pool with some friends.
somehow I missed when I was supposed to break. laughter ensued.
then mike's turn to break. AND HE JUMPED THE BALL OVER ALL THE OTHERS HAAAAHAHAHA.

hmmm went to mandai crematorium today. was just stoning around waiting for my relatives to show up and i watched these 2 kids play pepsi-cola. you know, the jumping game where u gotta hit the other person's feet. made me think back about the days I used to play that. man, things have REALLY changed since then.

syf coming soon. somehow i think this time it's going to be worse than the last one. cmon ppl wake up.

ok it's dinner time. bleah. still, gotta eat.
